In was in the month of March, in 1945, that Anne Frank, a 15 year old girl would perish in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. In the hiding place in Holland where she and her family had spent two years before being betrayed, she would leave behind a dairy that would capture the imagination of the entire world. It is appropriate that we pause during this Women’s History Month to remember this budding journalist and remarkable witness.
