The last week of September is recognized as ‘Banned Books Week’. Banning books and burning books is nothing new, nor has it come to an end. Pictured above is an Anti-Russian protester in Kiev, Ukraine in 2014, publicly destroying the collected works of V.I. Lenin. Pictured below is a Nazi rally in 1933 in which ‘un-German’ authors works were consigned to the flames. The University Staff members can use their WiscID to access the 3.5 million books of the Memorial Library on campus, the largest library in the State of Wisconsin.
