Representatives and Alternates who make up the 3rd University Staff Congress spent the afternoon of 18 July in an orientation, where they were welcomed by the Vice Chancellor, made aware of the open meetings and records statutes that pertain to their meetings, and briefed on Roberts Rules of Order so as to be able to conduct efficient proceedings. The orientation welcomed both newly elected members of Congress and those who are returning for another term, and each enjoyed mingling with the other, before and after the orientation.
