National Research Administration Day

National Research Administrators Day is observed annually on September 25, to recognize the contributions made by research administrators every day. Research Administrators are the University Staff who support the faculty and researchers enabling them to focus on research. They also protect the University by assuring sound stewardship of sponsored research dollars. UW-Madison’s research volume for fiscal year 2015 was $1,119,000,000. (yes, over a BILLION dollars). This total ranked the UW Madison as the 4th largest research university in the United States (2013).
