The University Staff Blog is a collective effort. We wish to raise the general profile of the staff itself within the campus community, and a diverse blog helps do that. We also strive to better articulate the role of the University Staff on campus and the people who make it up. We have tried to do that by profiling both the types of jobs they do and the extraordinary effort they put forth.
Lastly, we try to show that the interests of the staff are as wide and varied as the staff itself. While we try to pay particular attention to world and historic events that have a tie into working people, the UW, and Wisconsin in general, we also try to cover a large variety of subjects and make the blog a brief stop for people to get a short educational download on a topic they may not have explored before.
